While wandering about we noticed a small glacier creeping down to the floodplain we were slowly working our way across. As a bonus there was what passes for a road that seemed to lead right up to it, but distance is tricky to judge in this land. We decided it was worth the detour and adventured our way over the worst section of road we were not supposed to take our rental vehicle on. A short hike down some hills, a couple of mountain streams rock hopped over and forded through and we were at the foot of the glacier. How could we not continue the ramble up into the ice cave?
